Bloody good champagne with a tasty spider.
Start with 8oz of sparking wine or your champagne of choice,
add 2 oz Chambord (raspberry liqueur), 1 drop of red food dye (optional) .
The Spider
To fashion a spider: Take one black gumdrop, with the tip of a knife, make a slit through the candy on either side. Squeeze to open and place licorice to form legs. Trim to size. Push 2 red hots into the body for eyes.
Place spider on rim.
Serve in test tubes held by skeletal remains, or a crystal flute. |
